I'm in UK and all yesterday evening (about 14 hours ago) and up to now any changes made to the Designer are not saving. The "Save" roundall whirls but doesn't actually get to saving

We don't have any reported situation. I tested and could successfully make changes to the design inside the form designer.
Please try logging out and start a fresh session. Sometimes the system automatically logs out and this prevents any changes to be saved. Also let us know if this problem also happens in other browsers.
Let us know if the problem persists.

I am having the same issue. I cannot delete any fields or make changes to any fields.
