    Hello,

I would like to know if it's possible to have a form with a section of fields that will be filled once and a section of a loop for several fields that will be filled several times in the same sequence : field1 field2 field3 field1 field2 field3 ... rather for people to fill several times the same portion of form that doesn't change.

    Thanks,

    Hacene

I would like to apologize for I can't seem to clearly understand what you mean with your concern. Can you be more specific, please? Or, if you can give us more details about the fields that will or be involved in this process, that would be great. Because to my understanding, you would like to have fields be filled once and automatically fill the other fields similar to it once those fields are filled.

We would like to further help you and we will wait for your response. Thank you.

    Hi Mike,

I would like a school ti fill some informations once (name and adress of the school, nam of the teacherfor instance) and then, have a loop of serval actions: upload a file (a drawing, fill the name of the child, choose an article within several) that will be done several times.

Is it possible to have such process, the number of times that will be done could be filled before in a field or until an end of process is choosen?

    Thks

Yes, it would be possible but there are limits. I'm thinking of using another field(radio button field) asking if you would like to add more fields to fill up(Yes or No).

    Here's a sample form:

    https://form.jotform.com/60937501061954

Please note that this form only has a limit of 3 additional entries.

Or, you will be asked how many entries do you still need, where you will enter a number and group of fields will show up depending on the number selection.

    Here's a sample form:

    https://form.jotform.com/60937591763972

Please note that this sample form only has a limit of 4 entries.

I would suggest you clone the forms above and examine their conditions.

It would not have any limits if you will choose to use the Configurable List widget, however, since you are looking to include a file upload field, using the Configurable List widget might not be the solution you need.

Let us know if you need any further assistance. Thank you.

    Thnak you for your answer.

I've tried the fisrt, it would be exactly what I need but more than 3, is it something difficult to exceed?

The second, I've tried also but I've not seen the way to upload, maybe I've missed something.

The third, without any way to upload is not convenient as is. I've seen several request to add this feature, that would be great.

So, is it possible to exceed the limit of 3 and/or explain me how to proceed for the second way?

    Thank you

Yes, it is possible to exceed, indeed you may add the number of students that you want, I would suggest you to clone the first form provided by my colleague in order to see what he added and how it works, this guide will help you to clone the form: http://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

These are thee fields that you would need to add, at the end ask of is needed to add a new student.

My colleague used conditions to achieve this, her are the conditions, currently the form only has 3 conditions, because the current limit is 3, but if you want to add more students you can do it and you will add more conditions:

Here is a guide as well that will help you to get more information about this condition "Show / Hide Field": http://www.jotform.com/help/316-How-to-show-or-hide-a-field-in-the-form-based-on-the-other-field-input-or-selection

Regarding to the second way, I'm not sure if understood what are you referring with ", I've tried also but I've not seen the way to upload", but I see that there are the fields to upload files.

Please, if you want to use the second way, provide us a bit more about what it is not there, we will be glad to add it or explain how it works.

The same as the first sample, I would suggest you to clone that form and see what is on it, how it works and check  the conditions.
