Embedded Form Using Source Code: Why the form is stuck on - Please Wait - RESOLVED

Asked on April 4, 2016 at 2:31 PM

My trial application form is not submitting any longer. formID=51914358490965.

After completing the form and hitting SUBMIT it just indicates "Please wait".

The last submission that successfully submitted is dated Monday 21 March, 2016

No changes have been made to the form in some time. The form code is embedded at our site as it uses our database.

You are more than welcome to test the form your self to verify that a problem exists.

I checked the form in your website and noticed the same than you, I also checked the web console and I was able to see some errors, here is a screenshot about it:

However, I checked the standalone version of your form and I can see it is working fine, I was able to fill and submit it without any problem, see the screenshot below:

Please, try re-embedding your form again, it should get a fresh copy of it and should allow you to submit the form without any problem.

Do let us know if it helps, if it does not, we will take other look to your website once you re-embedded the form.

I had a look at the form again and fixed the error about the font.

The next error refers to a javascript file at your site:

    <script type="text/javascript" src="//d2g9qbzl5h49rh.cloudfront.net/js/formTranslation.v2.js?3.3.7886"></script>

If I don't use it the errors go away but the form will not move onto section two.

I'm working on embedding the script again, it takes a bit of time because I use script to fill the judges lists from our data base. I should have by tomorrow..

I still confused by the fact no changes have been made to the form at our site our yours and suddenly it starts to fail.. I just don't get it??????????????

The more I think about it the less I understand. The form works for months, no problems, then suddenly for no apparent reason it won’t send the information.

How do you explain it because I’m getting grilled and have no answers.

Something changed and it wasn’t the form. Please explain what I’m missing and what has to be done.

After making a couple of more tests it appears it is now working… Hip Hip Hooray!

I don’t know what happened and I’m not asking… The Gods are in our favor.

    Thank you,

Perhaps I spoke too quickly about not touching anything on the form for some time. I checked the history and fond the following:

Is there any way to find out what the change(s) were?

I apologize if I sounded accusing.

    Hello Robert,

Yes, there is a way. Here are the steps

    1) Identify the form in your My Forms page
    2) Once Identified, move your mouse cursor on top so that other options will appear
    3) Click More
    4) Click Revisions History

A modal window will appear and then it will tell you what changes you've made with your form for every save made on it.

Please let us know if you have more questions.

    Thanks.
