Zoho CRM: ability to trigger workflows within Zoho when a new contact or lead is added

    Hi there,


    I have an integration complete with zoho integration and i am seeing the contacts coming through to the zoho CRM when completing the jot form.

    When this creates the contact via the API however, it does not allow the work flow triggers to fire in Zoho CRM.

    I have spoken to zoho and this is their suggested remedy:


    Hello Oliver,

    I believe you are pushing the contacts from the webform using CRM API. I have verified that from my end. In order to get the workflow rule triggered for the API records it is mandatory to use the workflow Rule Trigger parameter named wfTrigger=True. 

    Please make sure to append this parameter to your API url so that the workflow rule will get triggered and Fires the custom function action.

    Would this be possible to implement with you guys?

    I believe this is not possible with our current Zoho CRM integration, so I have forwarded your message as a feature request to our developers - to be able to automatically trigger the work flows you have set up within your Zoho account.

    As with any feature request, we unfortunately can't give you any promises or estimates about when it might be implemented, or even if it will be worked on any time soon, but if and when it is added we will make sure to let you know through this support thread.

    For this reason, if/when such a feature becomes available, we will inform you through that other thread which was elevated first, and this current support thread should remain closed as a duplicate.

    This is now available. Simply select "Yes" from the "Trigger Workflow?" option in our Zoho integration wizard.
