How to partially download the submissions into an Excel

Asked by mazouch on April 06, 2016 at 02:46 PM

    Hi-

I do the registration for the Engaged Encounter for the Dodge City, Kansas Catholic dioceses. We are using Jotforms for the online application submissions.

What I would like to know is how to sort the applications...I want to be able to export the information to an excel spreadsheet by weekend date.  For example, I would like to export just the May weekend.  How do I do that with your system?

I have attempted to export and then sort in excel with no luck.

    Please advise.

    Thanks-

It is possible to partially download the submissions into an Excel by using custom time frame. Inside of this guide you can find how to do it: https://www.jotform.com/help/73-How-to-Download-Form-Submissions-as-Excel-CSV-PDF

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Well it is an open registration so I need to sort them on when they are choosing to come to a weekend that they have selected from our form.

For example, someone can register for our May EE weekend retreat as soon as we post it to our form. They can do that in November or March....so I don't have a date window.

So I want export only the people who have registered for a particular weekend that we have set in our online form.  I need to export only the May 2016 applicants and I cant sort them.

    Thanks-

You can enter the date inside of Search option on submission page of your form and download only submissions for selected date (date from the date field of your form, that your users selected).

You can also download all of your submissions and then inside of your Excel spreadsheet sort your submissions by date your users entered inside of your form.

Inside of your Excel spreadsheet select column that you want to sort and click on Sort & Filter option.
