Two of my forms are encrypted and I do not have a key

I need to decrypt two of my submissions.  There is absolutely no file for the key on my computer even though I went through the process to have it when I started this.  I have now turned it off but I need those two forms.  What do I do.

Have you checked in the downloads folder?

If you have lost the private key, then there is not much that you can do, basically your encrypted data is lost forever, there is no copy of the same on our servers and it is not possible to crack the one that you had.

The only recommendation is to turn off encryption right away on each form so that you can start receiving the submissions - which you will be able to see (as the encryption is turned off), while you can leave the encrypted submissions in your Submissions Panel in case you find the key at some later point in time.

That is fantastic since I was never properly given the key. Cannot lose
something your system never properly completed sending. Did not know it
was a total failure until the first form came through and would not
decrypt. I have since removed this feature but will never be able to
complete the business transaction that came in as I have no way of opening
it. Bad business on your end all around.

Sorry for inconvenience this may caused you.

I am not sure how this could happened. Every time you turn on encryption on your form Encryption Key wizard will be shown, asking you if you want to create new key or use existing key. If you do not have key you will be able to download it.

Also massage will be show if you already have public key.

However like my colleague mentioned if the key is lost, data are lost as well.
