Why I received an email about SMTP error?Asked by ghostwalks on April 07, 2016 at 01:35 PM
I haven't changed anything with my email account, however I'm now getting a SMTP error and can't set my email address for form responders.
There was an error on your SMTP configuration. Due to that error, our system automatically changed your email sender's address for your form ID 60965055598974 to firstname.lastname@example.org to prevent issues arising from your account.
Please log in to your JotForm account (http://www.jotform.com) to correct your SMTP configuration.
All the best,
All my settings haven't changed since it worked. What am I doing wrong?
I would suggest you to check your SMTP settings, this link will help you with that: https://www.wormly.com/test_smtp_server.
If this does not help you may also try following this guide:
You will not need to provide SMTP settings, it will send you an email with the verification code and that's all.
A workaround in case that the solutions provided above do not work, you may also follow the steps on this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/236-How-to-use-Mandrill-to-Send-Emails-From-Your-Own-Email-Address.
