Yes, you will need to have an account with Authorize.net if you are going to use the Authorize.net payment integration. You are getting the error "Error during transaction" because the correct login credentials are required. To resolve the issue, please sign up to Authorize.net.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
    Regards.

-You can enable the "Authorization only" option in the payment integration properties. Once this is enabled, you can collect the credit information, and the user will only be charged if you choose to capture the payment at a later time. To enable this option, please check out this guide: How to Enable Payment Authorization

-Other payment integrations with the "Authorization Only" options are Stripe, and Braintree. Please note that you will need an account for each of these integrations if you choose to use them.

Do let us know if you need further assistance.
    Regards.

You cannot record any credit card information through our forms directly, due to PCI DSS compliance. That is why collecting credit card information is regarded as a phishing activity, which is forbidden by our terms:

    https://www.jotform.com/terms/

You can only use one of the PCI compliant payment tools, such as Authorize.net, to have the credit card information forwarded to a payment processor (Authorize.net in this case) in a PCI compliant way.

Your users' full credit card information will not be directly made available to you. This information will only be visible to the payment processor.

Once a payment is authorized, you can only charge their provided card through the Authorized.net interface.

When it comes to how to insert calculations to your form, you can perform calculations on your form by following this guide:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-perform-calculation-in-the-form

Once you perform your calculations, you can even forward the total calculated amount to the payment tool as the price:

Sorry but we do not allow manually collecting credit card information using regular fields. You have to use any of the payment tools as also mentioned by my colleague then enable authorization charge if you want to manually charge your customers credit card. I believe there's no other option you can try other than this.

Unfortunately you cannot use the text "for Credit Card payment kindly write down card name, card no, expiry date and cvc no then snap shot by clicking the under Payment Proof" for your forms.

That will still be considered as collecting credit card information, and as such it is a violation of our terms. We also have a phishing detector that can detect those kinds of fields and if your form is found out to have one, your account might get auto-suspended. There is no other way except to use one of the payment integrations available in jotform.

    Regards.

If you mean using the file upload field to attach their CC details, I think that's fine.

If you add those text (card no, cvc, etc.), they will be detected by our phishing detector and your account may get suspended for doing so. Your current setup for payment proof should be fine so there is no need to change it further.

Hi Henry, sorry for a possible confusion, but please do note that per our terms of use it is actually not allowed to collect such data in any manner.
This is very important and if any form goes against this it will be suspended, if not by system, then by people on our team that are searching for the same. The reason for this is because the forms have been abused in past in order to illegal activities. For that reason rules are quite strict. This is the quote from the terms of use:Phishing. You agree that Company may terminate your JotForm Service immediately if a form's purpose is found to be deceptively obtaining: sensitive credit card information, social security numbers, user login credentials, or other sensitive personal information. All these activities are considered as Phishing and any account along with the violating forms will be suspended immediately.

Collecting Sensitive Information. You may not use the JotForm to collect certain types of sensitive information, including but not limited to credit card information and any type of login credentials. You may collect some sensitive information such as social security numbers or driver’s license numbers, but you are required to use best security practices of JotForm including SSL and Encrypted Forms features. You are solely responsible for compliance with any data protection and privacy laws and rules applicable to the sensitive information.Images would just tell us that someone is aware of the same being against the terms of use and still trying to go around it - so such accounts are usually suspended right away. The only 2 ways that are allowed are:1. Using payment tools that are offered under Payment Tools menu2. By having instructions that tell to people submitting the form to contact you and send the same over email or phone.- The second option is not considered as safe, but it is a way to do it without any issues. Now you have mentioned this few posts above: I am still having problem with credit card option had to remove it.If you let us know what is the issue that you have with the same we would be happy to assist in resolving it so that you can accept credit card payments on your form. Now, do note that next to Authorize.net there is also PayPal Pro and Stripe that allow the same. You of course need account on all of them to accept payments.
