Adding an image when replying to the post makes the image go over the submit (Post Answer) buttonAsked by mazmcewan on April 11, 2016 at 07:44 AMwhen adding an image to the thread here, it goes over the suit button and you can't submit the form... Have screen grab but , can't add!forum reply add image
Thank you for letting us know about this Maz.
I would just like to confirm if I understood the issue correctly.
Basically what you said, it seems that it happens when you want to reply back to us and then add some longer image - in which case the image is above the submit button and you can not post your answer.
Now, I was not able to recreate that, but I did notice that when the image is added, the height of the textbox is not updated right away, however, if you click next to the image, the height gets updated properly.
So I wanted to check with you if that was the error and if you are experiencing the same as well.
Yep, the image isn't very high, but yes you're right. I did post images of this in my previous thread - I noticed the text box did resize sometimes and i was able to submit, but in some cases it didn't re-size. Also, i had to try and upload my image a few times - It briefly went to a page that said something like "your too fast" (sorry didn't have time to read it all) then back to the thread and no image uploaded.
Hope this helps
This issue is occurring in some cases, when you add a bigger image than the text input's size, it will try to resize itself; but it could lead to that result especially in Safari browsers. However, I couldn't replicate the same results on my side as well. In this case, I suggest you to use different browsers than Safari like Chrome, Firefox.
If the problem insists, please do let us know.
