Monthly submissions are the amount of form submissions that your account can receive in a month. So if for example you have two forms in your account and each form receives 50 submissions, the total amount of submissions in your account will be 100. Since you are on a free account, your monthly submission limit is 100 submissions.
When an account exceeds its monthly submission limit (100 submissions for Free accounts), all the forms will temporarily be disabled so no one else can make a submission to the form. You will need to wait until the first day of the next month (ex: May 1) for the submission counter to reset to 0, or upgrade the account to a higher plan.
You can check out your monthly submissions by clicking the person icon on the top right of the page.
