Problems printing form in Internet Explorer and Safari?

Asked by mlcmont@mymts.net on March 05, 2012 at 08:56 AM

    Hi there,

We are a pre-school using JotForm for our parents can complete their children's enrollment packages. The form is at: http://form.jotform.com/form/20494448873

We need them to be able to print the form because there are a number of clauses that need to be initialled and then the form signed in some places. I can't send them the link to the pdf form because the form doesn't print the way we need it to.

Some parents have reported issues when they try to print, it sounds like they get "hung up".

I can print the form fine in Google Chrome, but when I click the Print Form button in IE 9, IE actually stops working and closes the window down. Given that we can't control what browser our parents use nor start asking them to adjust their security settings, does anyone have any suggestions please? Another parent who reported a problem is a Mac user, although I haven't confirmed that she uses Safari as her browser.

    Thank you,

    Hi MLC,

I tested it and saw the error you mentioned. I reviewed the APP error provided by the internet explorer and it seems it is not a error cause by jotform but by the internet explorer handling the event.(microsoft bug).

I also tested your form using firefox, safari, opera and chrome and works without error.

Try recreating the button and see if it works

    See sample

Also don't forget to clear your browser cache
