We can insert the date by getting the exact number of days from 1/1/1970 (the date computers use as a starting point) into the date that you want to use: 14/04/2016.

I used the calculation from the time and date website to determine that there are 16,905 days between 1/1/1970 and 14/04/2016. Now we can use that information to populate the correct date into your Date field.

Simply add the Update/Calculate condition below and use 16905 as the value in the calculate area.

Here's a demo so you can see it in action: https://form.jotform.com/61038205730951.
You can also clone it to your account to see the condition.

Thank you for your reply, clear, precise and functional.
However, I wish I could enter a date in the form day / month / year, which
seems to me more explicit. I tried to date () as shown in the screenshot
attached, but I do not get results, why? I misconfigured, or the syntax is
it wrong? Could you enlighten me on this approach? On what topic can we
find help? Thank you in advance.

    Hi there,

If you want to use the date in the form dd/mm/yyyy, we can easily make it by changing the setting "Date Format" as "ddmmyyyy" for the "DateTime" field.

Please, see the steps from the below:

In addition, you don't need to change anything from my colleague's form, everything will work properly after the changes.

    Regards.

    Hi there,
When clicking on the release date, the calendar appears with a default date
of September 2015. How can the current date or the current month default
date that appears on the calendar (not in date pre-filled out by the date)?
See screenshot. Thank you in advance.
    Regards.
