Lines from fields are barely visible when printing a fillable PDF form

    Hello

I have spent lots of time formatting my form for the Waimarino Art Awards to make sure that the form works both to be filled in online and when it is downloaded as a PDF by people who do not wish to fill in the form online. When the PDF form is on screen, it looks perfect with the text boxes highlighted  and it is easy to see where answers should be input/written. However when the form is printed out, the text boxes disappear and I am left with just faint lines . Is there any way that I could correct this?

    Kind regards

    Paula

Are you referring to printing out blank/empty forms, so that people can fill out a paper copy of your form?

If that is the case, I'm afraid that the fillable PDF version of the online form is not very customizable, but you should be able to have a better looking printed copy if you instead printed out your online form. You can even include a Print Form button directly on your online form:

If you click on the Print Form button when the form is not yet filled, you will be able to print out an empty paper form, which will look very much like your online form.
