How to create Condition rules that can only choose one option instead of both

I have two sports and male & female players.

I added a condition to the Gender field that is the player is Male then Hide the Girl's Basketball.

That works like I want it to. It did have to put the two sport choices into separate fields.

That created a new problem. Now the female can sign up for both of the sports, which we do not allow as they are in the same season.

How do I set the condition that the Female can only choose soccer or Girl's Basketball but not both?

    Thank you.

Could it be because you have added two radio button fields with a single option?

I think what you need is only one radio button field with two options so they can only select one. Radio button is designed for single selection.

Here's how you do it on the form builder.

Another solution is to have separate sports for male and female then in your condition, you can simply duplicate the field (right click > duplicate) and show the field depending on the user's gender.

    Hi EltonCris,

I need a little bit of help on this.

I have done as you suggested. It works beautifully for Athlete #1.

It is not working correctly for the remaining athlete entries.

That is the link to the site. The page opens with the parent information and Athlete #1 visible.

When you click on Male gender the Male Sport appears. Female gender the Female sport appears.

When you click on Add a 2nd child - that works fine also.

However, the two sports fields are visible rather than hidden. I have all of the condition correct. Well, I have deleted and redone them several times, but students 2 thru 4 do not have the sports field hidden.

Can you help me on this?

    Thanking you advance.

They are shown, because they are already conditioned to show if  "Do you want to add a x child?" is equal to yes:

To fix this you need to redo all conditions:

    1) Delete the field from your form:

Male Sport - Students Athlet #2

    Female Sport - Student Athlete # 2

Male Sport - Students Athlet #3

Female Sport - Student Athlete #3

Male Sport - Students Athlet #4

Female Sport - Student Athlete #4

    2) Redo the "Do you want to add a x child?" conditions.

    3) Create the deleted fields again.

    4) Redo the conditions "If Gender Student Athlete #x is equal to 'gender'".

I have done it for you in my cloned version:

You may simply clone it and use it:
