Unfortunately I could not replicate the same situation, as I tested and got the precise coordinates of my location.

You can try to use the Geo Location widget instead:

    http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/geolocation

You can define the widget coordinates' precision:

Let us know if the problem persists.

    Dear Miss. Carina

Thank you very for your suggestion. I already test as you guide  that the result is ok but it made me confuse because after i open a new geolocation the result is abnormal same the previous  then i check my location with google map again  that the result is ok  so i try to check with a new geolocation again but the result is ok same google map.

So i cannot summarize what is the significant factor and moreover geolocation that you suggest to me " http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/geolocation " what is the different point if compare  which my version .

    Thank you very much

    Thanabodee

I don't think this is an issue with the widget. Checking the location using a mobile may be accurate because of the GPS device in the phone. To my knowledge, when we check the location from a PC the location is generally set by the Internet connection.

I believe you should be having the same location when you check the location from the widget and Google Maps from the browser in the PC. If you feel the location is not accurate on the PC browser, you can still move the marker on the widget.

Hope this information helps! Please check and let us know if you need any further assistance. We will be happy to assist.

    Dear Support team.

This abnormal was found only mobile phone and every testing time I must confirm with Google maps

that the results we can accept accuracy +,- 5 M. and this map link form Google maps so location should be same ? but actual are very different.

If I cannot find abnormal factors of geolocation when we start implementation ( location > 20,000 point and user > 100 persons  )  many mistake will be come out .

Finally please kindly consider this issue again.

    Best regards

I cannot reproduce the problem. Using mobile with "Location/GPS" turned on shows a more accurate result. I've tested this on my mobile and it shows exactly my location.

I zoom it in to find out if it's really pointing my precise location and it indeed gives a finer result. The one I mark in red dot is my exact location so it's just a few walk away on the pointer.

Like my colleague has said, if you're using the internet to detect your location, it won't give accurate result because your location is checked base on your IP. While on mobile, a GPS is used so it is always expected to give an accurate result.

Using Geolocation Widget, it has an option to change coordinates precision. You can try changing its option to improve the result, however, 5 is the recommended value. It also has an option to allow manual input. You can pin point or adjust your location on the map manually when something goes wrong with the result.

Sorry, here is the test I've made directly on Google Map maps.google.com. I see no difference with the result shown on the widget.
