Most of my fields in conditions are grayed outAsked by pkhan on April 18, 2016 at 12:42 PM
I am trying to make a complex form. There are lot of conditions. It was working as expected.
But suddenly the form stopped working and most of the condition options grayed out.
What might be the problem !
The grayed out conditions are those that get disabled. To re-anable them the similar steps would need to be followed.
You can do that by:
1. going to conditions
2. clicking on the disabled condition
3. Activating it
Do let us know how it goes.
I have already re-activated those conditions, but they still appears gray !
I have checked the form from within your account and had checked what happens if I clone your form, but every time the conditions seem active on my side.
Are you still experiencing this?
Also if you are, could you please grab a screenshot of the conditions, it might help us to see what is actually happening.
Sent the screen shot at email@example.com
I was able to retrieve your provided screenshot on our support email.
Now I checked the Conditions setup on your form http://www.jotform.me/form/61085344518456 and I think there is a misunderstanding on how it works.
I checked the Editing of conditions on your form and they work just fine.
But base on your screenshot, I think you were refering to the 'Search' panel in the Condition editor.
When you use the dropdown list of all the fields in the Conditions editor, some fields will show disabled or not selectable in the list -- that is because they do not have any condition logic attached to them.
The only selectable fields on the list will be those that have existing conditions.
Please review the video below also for guide on what I was describing
Can you also tell us what you wanted to do within the dropdown list of fields? Were you trying to create new condition for a specific field/s?
You can simply click on the New Condition button(green button) and you should be able to add a condition logic for a specific field.
Hope this help. Please let us know how we can be of further assistance.
