How to autopopulate a formAsked by luyi zhang on April 19, 2016 at 09:24 AM
I was wondering if there's a way to use the information from a file upload to auto populate the fields on the form? or to populate a spreadsheet widget.
There are currently two ways to populate a form:
a) If you would like the fields to have a default value, you may use our Propopulate app. You may be able to set default values for each or any field you like. This values will always be displayed when users open the form
b) The other option is to use the URL to populate fields (Prepopulating fields to your JotForm via URL parameters). If you have an excel with the values, you can just create the URL using a formula
Once you have the URL, you can open the form with it
