Not able to upload DOCX files

Hello, My name is Bob, I created a document in Microsoft word on my computer am trying to upload a it to a website but, my document has a docx extention. I am getting a message saying, This file type is not allowed. Accepted file types are : doc, pdf and odt.  I signed up with jot form thinking that the Upload Field Allowed File Types section might help my situation? Don't know what to do next? Can you help? Thanks

As you know the newer Microsoft office created a new extension for its documents. If you look carefully, it add the letter X in the extension (docx). Since it is another extension, you have to manually add this in the extension list of the upload field. If you have only doc, it will not recognize the newer version word docs. Entering docx and xlsx will enable you to upload the new version of the word documents.
