Integrating with MailChimp and Compulsory Purchase

    Hello,

I'm making up my form but when I try to integrate with mailchimp it only comes up with selected fields like for example "full name" is a compulsory field according to jotform but doesn't exist on my list in mailchimp. Also, when I make changes it never saves for the next time. I always have to line them up fresh, only to come up against the same hurdles.

Also, I need to make it compulsory to pay $10 to join our list. We're selling samples attached to this.

Is there a way to make it so that nobody gets onto that list without paying that $10? I can't find a box to make the box for the samples filled by default.

Any thoughts on that mailchimp glitch?

cloned your form (http://www.jotform.com/form/41038002354845) and noticed that you are using separate fields for the first and last name. I would suggest using the Full Name field instead. That way, you can match the Full Name field in your Mailchimp list with the Full Name field in jotform.

I was able to integrate the cloned form with mailchimp without any issues.

If you make changes to the form, you might indeed need to re-integrate the form with mailchimp again to make sure that all the fields are matched. I would suggest making all the necessary changes to your form before integrating with mailchimp to avoid any issues that may occur.

As for your other issue with the compulsory $10 payment, to better assist you that concern shall be answered in a new thread. Simply follow this link to view it: https://www.jotform.com/answers/824170

    Hello,
I don't have a full name form in mailchimp and don't really want one
because I want to create emails using only the first name which I've
been doing for 4 years. Is this going to be possible?
I still want to collect the surname so that I can send out samples and
    whatnot.
I'll check out that article, thanks.

If I understand correctly, you have a First Name and Last Name in Mailchimp, and you want to integrate those fields separately with the First Name and Last Name fields in Jotform? However, the First Name and Last Name option does not come up when setting the integration, and only Full Name shows up?

May I ask for a screenshot of the MailChimp field setting you have created for the List? To check the settings go to your Lists in Mailchimp and click on Settings then select "List fields then Merge tags".

I will wait for your response.

I screenshotted as much as I could but there's no field that I can see in Mailchimp for full name. But I really want to be able to segment first and last name.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot. I noticed that you have First Name and Last Name fields in the mailchimp list. Please note that these two fields will be combined as "Full Name" in the Mailchimp integration wizard.

If you want to match the First Name and Last Name fields separately, you can change the List Field settings and input MERGE1 and MERGE2 for the First and Last Name respectively.

Save the settings then reintegrate Mailchimp with your form. The "Match Your Fields" options should now show First Name and Last Name instead of Full Name.

Here they are once they are matched.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you need further assistance.

    Hello Christiian,
I don't understand? I already have first name and last name set up as
Merge1 and Merge2... and it works fine with the form service I'm using
now. I just would prefer to move back to jotform because it's a little
less expensive for me right now as we re-build our list and looks a bit
    nicer with the slideshow.
So yeah, I just don't get the Merge1 and Merge2 thing because it's
already set up like that. And I have set it up like that in jotform,
just that when I go to integrate with mailchimp the last name bit
    doesn't come up.

If you have already setup your MailChimp settings same with the setup below.

Please try to remove and integrate again your form's MailChimp Integration and see if it will reflect the changes.
