    Hi,

Yesterday, my account "marc_stadelmann" has been blocked for phishing suspicion. You activated again with following comments:

    1) Your account username  marc_stadelmann is suspended due that you are requesting Login credentials in plain text fields on your forms. To collect this type of information in plain text field is considered as a violation to our Terms of Use, as this is only allowed through encryption and our forms do not provide this type of method.

    2) It seems that the issue is caused by your form being in non English language and asking for username, however as the form seems OK, I see that my colleague had just reactivated your account for you.

What is correct between those 2 comments?

I'm building a login system and I design login forms, with password, username, ... Does it mean that JotForm is not suitable for this kind of work?

    Thanks,

    Marc

    Apologies for the confusion.

We do not allow JotForm forms asking for sensitive information like log in credentials, usernames and passwords, credit card info and bank details. In your case, you are using our form as a means to reset a password, please note that this mimics a phishing page and JotForm forms are not designed to be part of a log in system. This is a violation of our terms of use, please see our terms page.

    I have quoted it here:

Phishing. You agree that Company may terminate your JotForm Service immediately if a form's purpose is found to be deceptively obtaining: sensitive credit card information, social security numbers, user login credentials, or other sensitive personal information. All these activities are considered as Phishing and any account along with the violating forms will be suspended immediately.

Collecting Sensitive Information. You may not use the JotForm to collect certain types of sensitive information, including but not limited to credit card information and any type of login credentials. You may collect some sensitive information such as social security numbers or driver’s license numbers, but you are required to use best security practices of JotForm including SSL and Encrypted Forms features. You are solely responsible for compliance with any data protection and privacy laws and rules applicable to the sensitive information.

We can reactivate your account, however, we will need to delete the forms violated our terms and you must agree with our terms. Creating similar forms will only lead to your account being suspended again, and possibly a permanent ban.
