Adobe e-sign widget: Ability to get multiple signatures required by the same user on the document

I have a legal form the requires a person to digitally sign in more than one location. When I try to add the Adobe e-signature widget a second time I am returned a message saying "You cannot add more than one of this widget."

Any way to enable a second signature using the widget?

I'm not sure if it is possible to have the widget more than once in the same form since the authentication happens using an email address. Let me check and forward the request to our backend to evaluate the requirement.

Please be noted that we cannot promise that the feature will be implemented or cannot provide you any ETA at the moment. Once we have any update in this regard, you'll be posted here.

    Thank you!

It looks like there is a limitation applied to the custom documents that are being signed using APIs. I'm not sure if there is any improvement in the APIs provided by Adobe. I've forwarded the request to our backend team so that they can provide us with exact information and if the feature can be implemented.

    Thank you!

    Hi Kiran,

I appreciate that you are looking into this!

One favor to ask: Seems my account has been suspended for what someone thinks is phishing. Maybe because so far I have only sent forms to myself, multiple times? When trying to login I get a message saying my account has been suspended. Could you have someone look into this and contact me if needed?

    Regards,

    Gene

    Hello Gene,

Could you walk me through how your form works such that it requires the form to be signed twice?

I'd like to understand just how you would use it - it helps when considering and building features.

    Looking forward.

    Thanks!

Sure can. Our processing agreements require accepting both a Personal Guarantee of financial responsibility and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. The paper forms (PDF's) we have been using require a separate signature for each acceptance. In some cases, larger companies opt to complete a separate document, a Corporate Guarantee in lieu of the Personal Guarantee, but would still be required to sign and accept the Terms and Conditions.

Unfortunately, there is no update on this feature yet. I notice that this feature request is on low priority which may be due to the limitations of the API.

Since you are now subscribed to the thread, you'll be posted on this thread once we have any update in this regard.

    Thank you!
