Is is possible to set up the inventory control directly on Sales Order Form?
Is will really make life easier especially on email confirmation too. I
need to manually enter all the product description in the email
confirmation. This does not making sense.

If I'm correct, you are referring to the name of the widget, that you have to updated it manually in the email that is sent upon a submission, if I'm correct you need to update the email and auto-responder on this part of the email:

Inventory Widget: Hide Inventory Widget on Emails when its quantity is equal to Image 1 Screenshot 60

Though the widget's name is there, there is no way to identify which is the widget since it does not have  label on it, this will be fixed by adding a label in the widgets settings, you need  to click on the widget and instead of clicking on the wizard icon you will click on the gear icon in order to get the field's settings.

Now you will be able to update the text to identify your widget, do it on the section as shown in the image below.

This will be automatically updated in the email notification and auto-responder:

In case that you only want to add the label to each widget only in emails and you do not want them to show in the form, you only will need to click on the widget, on the top toolbar you will find the option Label, click on it and choose disable, this will hide the label on the form, but it will be still showing in the emails:

    Hope this will help you.

    Hi,
The question is customers should only see what they ordered on the email.
Not list of the items that they did not order. Just like the sales order
    confirmation email.
Please let me know how to fix this.

Normally, we just need to enable the "Hide Empty Fields on Email" option from the old preferences and empty fields won't show anymore on emails. However, since the Inventory widget has a default value of "0", which is considered as a value still, enabling the mentioned option would not really help.

I will try to escalate this to our developers so they could come up with a possible solution to your concern. However, I would like to apologize if I cannot provide any ETA to when this will be available. But, please be reminded that you will be notified via this thread for any updates.

    Thank you.

I have been a paid user to Jotform for two years. This feature was never improved. This just doesn't make sense to the customers.
The best way is to have QTY control in the sales order form.

We understand your concern and unfortunately, it's not simply easy so think out solutions and features for users as the development team is pretty busy with a list of things in their pipeline.

We try to have the features of forms to be flexible enough to serve everyone. However, that does not mean we leave things out as such. For this reason, we are grateful for people like you who lead to us and share ideas with us on how to make the forms easy to use and how it should serve your purpose.

So as soon as we have updates, we shall inform you the soonest.

Thanks for your understanding and patience on this matter.
