Do you have any widgets and/or apps that will not allow me to double book someone?

    Hey Jotform Family,

I created a form for a client where they are calling different schools to book educators to teach a class. However, one of her concerns is double-booking a client. Is there any widget or conditional logic that I can use in order to prevent this from happening?

    Thanks in advance

Do you mean to say that the form is submitted multiple times that create duplicate submissions? If so, you may restrict the users to the submit the form for the second time by enabling Unique submissions (restricts by IP address/cookies) or Unique question (Email address/phone number/any other field on your JotForm) option from the Form Preferences.

Hope this information helps! If you are referring to something different or need any further assistance, please let us know. We will be happy to help!

I'm pretty sure she means 2 different clients, 2 different form submissions, BOTH PICKED THE SAME DATE AND TIME. That is what most people would understand double booking to be. What Kiran is describing would be considered a single user double submitting (probably because they made an error the first time)

I need a safeguard from double booking, Date validations should be dynamically compared to form submissions in a database to avoid double booking. Kindof like an enum column that keeps growing as forms are submitted

Since this is an old thread, your question is moved to a separate thread and shall be addressed there shortly.
