How to use form offlineAsked by CAinslie on April 23, 2016 at 05:09 PM
I need to do door-to-door data collection.
I need to work offline
Can I save the form to my tablet's desktop? I need to populated the form and save information offline, and when I am back at home use my WiFi to sync all the information to my google drive?
You could capture the data of your form in the browsers internal storage, which can then be submitted later (using auto-fill: How to Enable Auto Fill Feature ), but this would work on a single form for single submission. So if you are looking to capture a lot of data and submit it later, this would not be possible due to technical constraints.
The best that you could get would be to open several different browsers and save the data on them, but this would mean that there is a limited amount of inputs.
The only way to achieve what you are after would be if you can open and edit PDF on your form. If so, you could capture a PDF of your form, which you can then open and use Save as to save the data for any amount of time that you need.
You can see more about the fillable PDFs on the following guides:
Hope this helps.
