Form Warnings: Incorrect validation messages for 'Min Value' and 'Max Value' parametersAsked by mijot on April 25, 2016 at 04:05 PM
I have created numeric fields which have min and max value restrictions. the warning msg that shows up on the form is not correct. it shows "Input should not less than the minimum value:" and it should be "Input should not be less than minimum:", see image below.
I checked the warning on the form settings and those look fine.
Where is this erroneous msg coming from and how can i fix it?
Thank you for contacting us.
It looks like that default validation messages are not correct for the 'Min Value' and 'Max Value' parameters of the Number field type. I have submitted a bug report ticket about this issue.
In the meantime, you can re-save the warnings via form preferences. It should apply saved validation values to the form.
This issue has now been fixed. The default errors for min/max number value will now show as they should.
