why does the form that I embedded into my website not send submission email to to my email address when the submit button has been clicked

    I can see that your form doesn't have Notification, this is the reason why you didn't received any mail messages from your form. To received emails on form submissions, please follow this guide right here: http://www.jotform.com/help/25-Receiving-Emails-on-Form-Submissions

    When I logged into your account, loaded the form in question and clicked on "Email Alerts", I was greeted with this (indicated by the arrow). What is it? Did you put it there? Maybe it's a JotForm feature with which I'm not familiar:

    Normally, there is a default email notification that looks like this:

    This default notification is preset to deliver submissions to the email address associated with your JotForm account.

    As stated earlier, I don't know about the first one but just leave it there and click "Add New Email" then click "Next" and if neccessary, change the recipient address on the envelope. Click "Next" and "Finish" and save the form.

    Please let us know after doing this you can now receive submissions at your email address.

    daleodu I confirm that autoresponder works fine. Email has delivered to your email address. Please check spam folder. Thanks.

    I checked the mail logs and it says the mail message was delivered successfully. I have also created a test submission to your form. Can you please check your mail inbox/spam folder if my test submissions landed successfully?

    Just tested my other jotform on www.odu.dalecollege.co.za/join.htm and it works perfectly sending to the same email address.
    I am now confused.
    should I delete the form and start over with a new form or what?

    It is not necessary for you to delete the form and redo it again from what I am seeing right now you have several conditions for this form. All of which will be lost once you delete the whole form and reset the conditions.

    Have you looked into the Spam or Bulk folders? You can add noreply@jotform.com to your contacts so that it will not be caught by the spam filters.

    Hi, I have two forms, one of them sends and email to my in-box, but the other one does not.

    I have checked my notification email settings and they both seem to be set ok to point to beckji@yahoo.com.

    Could you please help ?

    Jim, please set the Sender E-mail to: noreply@jotform.com and test the form.

    I'm referring to the form that does not send email.

    Let us know if that works for you.
