I'd like to make a form that has fields separated into two columns.

I've looked at many forum questions for help. And I know there is supposed to be a field in the form builder where you can set the form into two columns. But when I try to use the form builder, that option doesn't appear. I think it's supposed to appear under the section where it says make the form responsive, but it doesn't appear for me. BTW, what does make form responsive mean?

No, there is no such field, but instead, you could use the Shrink and move to new line option.

Both are available to you once you right click on a field in form builder.

Basically when you shrink the field it will take the width that it needs, not the full width. That with a bit of CSS will allow you to set the fields into two columns.

You can see more about it here: How to Position Fields in JotForm

Do of course let us know if you happen to have any further questions or issues and we would be happy to assist with the same.
