Dropbox Integration: Ability to view file separately in the dropbox folder when Image Upload Preview is used.

Hi,

I created a form with an Image Upload widget and dropbox integration. After submitting the form, I get a PDF of the form results in Dropbox, but as I understand it I'm supposed to get the uploaded file separately, and that's not happening. I just get the image embedded in the PDF, which isn't useful. How do I get the actual image file uploaded to the form in my dropbox?

I see that you are using the Image Upload Preview widget for uploading images. Unfortunately since you are using the widget, you will not receive a copy of the file separately on the dropbox integration. You will still be able to see the image on the pdf file.

If you want to receive the uploaded file separately, you will need to use the Upload File field as seen below.

Once a file is uploaded through that field, you will see the uploaded file separately on the dropbox folder.

That's disappointing. Since JotForm provides several ways to upload files, it's frustrating that only the most basic one works with Dropbox integration. In my case, the Image Upload Preview widget provides a better experience for the person filling in the form than the Upload File field. Please consider this a feature request :)

I have sent a feature request on your behalf so that uploaded files using the Image Upload Preview widget will appear as a separate file in the dropbox integration. We will let you know on this thread if we have any updates about your request. Regards.
