Why does my form keep deleting out of my JotForms account?Asked by championsforcures on May 04, 2016 at 11:13 AM
Hello, I have recreated my form in the JotForms account 4 times now. I create it, save it, and then embed it into my site. After about a day live on the site, the form disappears. When I log back into my JotFom account, it shows an empty form. Why does JotForm keep deleting my form fields? Please fix this!
When opening your site, I was able to view the form with no issues. Forms should never be removed or deleted, unless the owner (yourself) remove it manually. If this occurs again, please let us know. We will immediately take a look.
Victor,The form was only up again yesterday because I rebuilt it for the 5th time before you must have looked. The form fields keep disappearing after it's been live for awhile. When I log back into my JotForm account, the only thing that remains on the form is the title and submit button. All fields in between disappear. When it happens again, I'll circle back to you before rebuilding.Thanks.

I have just reviewed the Revision History of the form. I noticed that you are adding the fields manually. Using this feature will enable to undo any changes or revert back to a time where the form was working properly. You will not be require to add the fields manually again.
Again, if this occurs, please let us know. This could be a big issue and may require our developers to look into it. Before you rebuild the form, please let us know.

The form has disappeared again. The only thing left is the title and submit button. Please see link below.
This is the strangest thing. It's live for approximately 24 hours after I build it each time, then deletes. Please review the situation and let me know how to resolve this issues.
Hello Bethany. I checked the form on your website and I can confirm that the fields have disappeared. All that's left is the title and the submit button.
I checked the Form Revision History and it appears that the fields were removed by a guest user. This guest user appears to be connected to your email address, which suggests the changes were made on your end.
While you are editing the form, do you perhaps have another form builder open that might have affected this form? Do you logout your jotform account, then try to edit the Champion for Cure form? Guest accounts are created when a user creates a form without logging in to their account. Perhaps the session expired and you were logged out while you were editing and saving the form, which caused the fields to be removed?
Please let us know of your process of editing the form, and also if any other users have access to your account. Having this information would allow us to narrow down the cause of the problem. In the meantime, can you revert the form to the version when it has all the fields, then let us know of the actions you took on jotform before the fields disappear again.

Hello. I have no idea who this guest editor is or why they would have access to the form. It appears as though there are updates made at all hours of the day, when all I've done is recreate the entire form each day when it disappears. For the last few days, I have left the JotForm browser window open on my computer, but only to check on the form every now and then to make sure it's working. No one else has access to my computer to make these changes. It's almost like it's an automated situation. Five times in a row now, all of the form fields have been deleted except for the title and submit button. The same thing happens everyday.
I will go in right now and revert the form back to it's last version. If/when it disappears again, I'll let you know. It's usually about 24 hours after I have remade the form.
Thanks for looking into this. It's a very strange and annoying problem.
Are you using the exact same browser every time you edit your form? Can you try clearing your browser's data after making changes to your form and saving it?
Also, try refreshing the page after saving any changes you made to your form to check if you're still logged in when you hit save. Or best if you open Jotform website on a different browser tab and see if you're still logged in properly before saving the form and refreshing the page.
I have cleared your form's cache. Kindly update us if you're still having the same issue.
