Is it possible to make the auto increment widget a barcode font so that we can scan the number once its printed??

If you are referring to the Unique ID widget, unfortunately, it is not possible to have it in barcode font. This is because, the widget is by default hidden in live preview, so even if we will style it using CSS, it won't show up in print preview. The unique ID value cannot also be passed on different text fields and does not access CSS styling when it is submitted in the server.
