We do not allow forms asking for sensitive information like credit card details using plain text fields. You will most likely violate our terms of use and may lead to suspension if you proceed on it. JotForm was not designed to collect payment information and store it in our servers. Please check our terms page: http://www.jotform.com/terms/. Specifically the Phishing and Sensitive Information section.

If you need to ask payment from your users, you can do that using the readily available payment integrations that we have. We simply pass the data to the 3rd party payment integration via API and the transaction is processed and completed there.

Here's how you can setup a payment or order form: https://www.jotform.com/help/165-Setting-Up-Your-First-Order-Form

Here are the list of payment integration that we support: https://www.jotform.com/help/323-Mastering-Payment-Form-Integrations-with-JotForm

If you not need to immediately charge your clients, you can enable the payment authorization only in your payment integration, here's a guide about it: https://www.jotform.com/help/292-How-to-Enable-Payment-Authorization

If your using Stripe, you can also check this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/347-How-to-Capture-Stripe-Payment-Authorization

    I hope that helps.
