Q2 answers depending on Q1 answersAsked by Val on May 06, 2016 at 08:57 AM
How can I create a form where the list of possible answers from Question 2 depends on my answer in Question 1?
For example, Q1 is What do you want to eat? Possible answers are Soup and Steak. Question 2 is What kind? Possible answers are Mushroom or Basil if I pick soup or New York or Ribeye if I pick steak.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the options. What's possible is setting up two different version of Q2.
Here's an example:
Noticed I have setup 2 Q2 questions specific on the selection in Q1.
Now I will use Conditional Logic to display the Q2 questions based on the Q1 question. You can learn more about this on this guide link: https://www.jotform.com/help/57-Smart-Forms-Using-Conditional-Logic
Here's my demo form to see how it works: https://form.jotform.com/61263760263958
