Why is my edited form not showing the changes in the email submissions?

I recently edited my form to include a few additional questions but the email submissions I get do not show the new questions/answers. However, if I open the submissions in Jotform, the new version is there with questions and answers. How can I update the emailed form to show the new edits?

There are times that the email template in your form is not updating if you edit your form, like adding, deleting or editing new fields.

You should be able to see, check and update the email template by following the steps below:

    1. First, click the "Emails" in the form builder, hover your cursor on the existing notifier and click the "Edit" button.

    2. Here you can edit the email template. Noticed that your email template uses tags to get the input from your form fields. An example field tag is {fullName3}. Sometimes if you edit your form, these tags don't update. You can get the correct email tags by clicking the "Form Fields" list and select the field there.

Another way to resolve this is delete your email notification and create a new one. Creating a new one will surely load a new template with the updated fields and tags in your form.
