Need a net score from dynamic text boxesAsked by meghajain19 on May 09, 2016 at 03:25 AM
My form link
I want to showcase total score = 2.5 * no. of text boxes filled
Is it possible. Please let me know the logic
If you want to calculate the total number of filled text boxes It might be possible with the calculation widget. I will test it on my side and get back to you as soon as possible with solution.
I came back with solution.=) First of all, you need to add calculation field one by one as you see below:
After that, we will create conditions for calculating the total number of field that user filled with conditions.
We need to make same arrangements for all of your fields as you see below.
Finally, we will show the total number as you see below:

thanks for your reply. Unfortunately this is not what I want.
I am using dynamic text box wizard, when user fills 3 boxes then I can show him that user has 4*2.5 score.
Sorry it should be 3*2.5
Unfortunately it is not possible to count/calculate how many fields were added with Dynamic Textbox widget.
Possible workaround is to use regular textbox fields and add calculation fields to calculate how many fields were filled. My colleague beril provided you workaround for this.
