    You have disabled my form without warning again

    What is up with you guys, we have used your form for clients before, although I doubt we will bother with your service ever again.   Unbelievable that you can arbitrarily decide to just shut down a booking form with no warning. This is the second time.  I have no idea what the problem could be and would appreciate knowing what is the deal.

    We do not allow for the collection of credit card details directly through the form:

    http://www.jotform.com/terms/

    If you require payment authorization, that can be setup through one of our payment processors:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/292-How-to-Enable-Payment-Authorization

    I removed the credit card fields from your form to bring it back within our terms and reactivated your account.  Adding credit card fields to your form will result in your account being automatically suspended once again.  Please use our payment processors for any payment processing requirements you may have.

    if it is not allowed to collect credit card info on a secure https location
    then maybe there should not be template examples in your system that we can use that do just that
    to save time, I started with one of your templates for ordering of a product or room booking, I can't remember

    for booking of a camping spot or any kind of hotel booking.....the owner has to determine if that spot is available before
    accepting the booking and then taking a deposit payment to hold it

    thanks, I will recommend that my client use another system like formsite that does not have this restriction

    My apologies, most of the templates in the gallery are user submitted and the one you found may have slipped passed our phishing detector. 

    Using payment authorization through one of our payment processors, you do not have to process the payment right away and can be cancelled if needed.

    I do realize that is the way the modern world is going....however many of my clients are still older and not modern savvy and they don't want to use a payment processor
    they want to continue to use the form they have always used and put through a payment on their terminal in their office as they always have done
    and in most cases they probably don't put through much of a deposit at all, unless the person does not show up

    these many clients are slipping through the cracks I guess in favor of the credit card processors getting their percentage and money right away which is sad

    this client previous booking form stopped working because their hosting company is old and their server is giving us trouble with putting through an email form on an ssl server
    I was hoping that your service would be an easy solution

    Hi Shelley,

    We do apologize for any inconveniece this had caused you.

    Unfortunately the restriction implemented is also system based. Meaning it is bulit-in within the system that the implementation effect is global. We cannot remove them for specific form/s.

    Can you please share to us the URL of your client form that was having the issue at this time? If they are using on a website, share also the website page where we can check.

    We can help them with a resolution without having to use form that go againts the JotForm terms of use.

    We will wait for your response.

    I have already moved on with a different solution

    the form system I have found does not insist on using a payment processor

    I did confirm with my client that they often don't do any processing of the credit card until the customer arrives at the campground
    it is more that the customer when booking does not feel like their spot would be saved if they don't provide a credit card for a deposit
    even when deposit is not actually taken, it is more of an agreement than just the booking of the date
    at least that is how my client explained it to me

    Yes, we understand, but as explained above by my colleagues, we cannot allow you to ask for CC info in plain fields, you will need to use one of our payment integrations which allows payment authorization. 

    There is not a possibility to make exceptions and allow some users to ask for CC info, there are some other users that may be using their forms as phishing although there are users that are using their forms properly as you are doing.
