Hey, adding on to this.. what if you guys added the feature to enable the unique submission feature but exclude specific IP addresses from hitting that submission limit?

    Hello,

Unfortunately it is currently not possible to block submissions from specific IP address. We can block the IP address from our backend system but it will completely block users from accessing JotForm site from any specific IP.

Let me create a feature request ticket and send it to our backend team. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.

    Thank you!

    Thanks for your reply.

Basically what I'm suggesting is adding to a feature that is already in place. There is already the option to limit a form submission to 1, all that would have to be added some sort of feature where you specify conditions to ignore this limit (example: specific ip address, or even a specific value in a field?)

    Hello,

I am not sure if I have understood your requirement correctly. Do you mean to say that you want to actually disable form limits for any specific IP address?

Example: You have set submission limit of your form as 10. This will ensure that form only accepts 10 submissions.

Do you mean to say that you need a feature where this limit is not applicable to some specific IP address and submissions will allowed?

We will wait for your response.

    Thank you!

Yes that's correct. I read feature suggestions that people have made previously which suggests that the idea of blocking specific IPs from forms isn't an easy feature to add, so though perhaps this could be an easier workaround?

Thank you for your input, Milk_.

We'll add this in the annotation.

But a better solution that I could think of to be able to have this implemented soonest is actually just add a code that should do this on your page where the form is embedded.  Perhaps we can help you with the code in it as well.

Please do get back to us and let us know of your thoughts.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, and really appreciate the offer to help! Unfortunately I have the source files saved locally and use the files within a workplace. It's ok though, it's nothing that will prevent me from doing what I need to do. Was just requesting for the added security :)
