    Asked by tidywebsites on May 11, 2016 at 10:32 AM

    What happened to the 'Disable' 'Enable' highlight effect on the form fields? i.e. when you start to input text into a field it highlights (pale yellow).

    You can still find that option in your Form Designer Tool.

    Here's a screenshot to where to find it:

    You can also use custom CSS code to redesign them.

    Let us know if you are still having problems on this.

    You should be able to remove the highlight effect by using this custom CSS code:

    .form-line-active {

        background-color: transparent !important;

    }

    You can paste it under the CSS tab in your Form Designer Tool.

    Let us know if that works for you.

    this seems to just make the entire form white.... That is not what i want
    either. i want the background black and then no highlighting.

    If you want to remove the highlight effect, inject the following CSS code as explained on this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/117-How-to-Inject-Custom-CSS-Codes

    .form-line-active {

    background: none !important;

    }

    If you want to remove the background error, inject the following CSS code:

    .form-line-error {

    background:transparent !important;

    }

    Also, if you want to remove the background color from the product items when the mouse hovers, inject this code:

    .hover-product-item{

    background:transparent !important;

    }

    Changing the background color of the form can be done in the designer under the "Color Scheme" options.

    So like this form?

    https://form.jotform.com/61806716673967

    This form would be the following code:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/117-How-to-Inject-Custom-CSS-Codes

    .form-line-active {
        background : none !important;
    }

    .form-line-error {

    background:transparent !important;

    }

    .form-all {
        background : black;
    }

    is there a limit to how many changes we can make? that might be the issue.
    I am doing the above steps but in the design view and preview view and on
    my website no changes are showing. it is like the form is stuck.
    if there is a limit to the amount of changes/saves that can be made - that
    might be the issue.
    Thanks!

    There is no limit to the number of updates you can make to your form.  Here is our guide on adding CSS to your form:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/117-How-to-Inject-Custom-CSS-Codes

    You should be able to copy the code from my post above and paste it to the CSS section to apply the changes.

    this does not work either, it still highlights the text - which turns from
    white to a very dark grey while selected.
    see the sample form here.

    also is there any way to add images to the items for sale? there is a spot
    for an image url but it makes the image so small that no one can tell what
    it is.
    Thanks!
