This was an important form it is a ballot for an election of a committee, I had to contact regarding this form that was displaying form unavailable, a couple days ago   after some mucking around I discovered the form had been disabled (I was not aware that the form could be disabled) obviously  I re enabled it, Then I start getting more complaints that the form was not available again, the ballot ends tomorrow 12th and we are not sure if this ballot is now legal seeing it was not available throughout the consultation, I am very unhappy about this why doe the form keep changing itself back to disabled , I have just had to re enable it again third time today. I am now worried that  forms cant be trusted as reliable.

need advice asap, when you test it it will be working as it has recently been enabled again.

why does the form keep defaulting to disabled I need to understand why.

There is currently a submission limit set for your form:

The form is set to disable when the limit is reached.  Since your form has reached the limit that was set of 10 submissions, the form will continue to disable itself.

Under the preferences for your form, change the form status to simply "Enabled" or increase the limit that was previously set to allow for more submissions.

thanks for the reply but It would seem the point has been missed , the pref is set to enable but submission limit seems to do its own thing. I have even asked in the past if there are any keyboard shortcuts that I may have inadvertently pressed, I have never set the submission limit, I have in the passed asked about it but never implemented, why when the form pref is set to enable does the submission limit still take preference and what should the default setting be for it.

    Hello andypenn,

It is highly unlikely that the "Submission Limit" will set on its own. Please be noted that if you enable your form again, the submission limit will still be counted. So, you should actually delete or increase the submission limit after you enable your form.

    Thank you!

OK  "highly unlikely" not out of the question !   "Under the preferences for your form, change the form status to simply "Enabled" or increase the limit that was previously set to allow for more submissions."

the above instruction implies by enabling the form it will override any sub limits, your last post somewhat contradicts as I am now advised to both enable the form and in crease the limit, This implies to me that its a safe guard

Can you define what the preferences should be for a form to work normally up to account limits

Can you define if Enable overrides sub limits.

You are currently on the Premium Plan which will allow you to receive up to 1000 submissions per month, total from all forms you have. With regards to the Submissions Limit in the Preferences, this option is marked as "Enabled" by default. If you wish to remove this limit, you should set this back its default. The form should then work and will continue to receive submissions until your account limit is reached.

I'm not sure what you are referring to with the sub limits, but enabling the status of the form should fix it.
