Can a Jotform time out from inactivity? If so, how does a user know this is the case?

We are trying to have clients submit many assets (photos) to us using jotform, however we've heard in multiple instances that the submission failed. We do not know if it was because the file sizes were too big or the form timed out.

    Thanks!

Form can not time out from inactivity.

I have tested your form and I was not able to replicate mentioned issue. I have successfully uploaded several images to your form and I got redirected to thank you page when I submitted your form.

Your form has lot of File upload fields. How many files did your users try to upload when submission failed? Please note that recommended value is up to 25 files per request (submission).

Were the fields large? More about file upload size limits, you can find inside of this guide:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/33-Changing-the-Upload-Size-Limit

Did your users received error message when they submitted your form? If possible, please provide us a screenshot

In case that your form is embedded to wesite, please provide us URL of website so that we can test your form there.

Also it is possible that your users submitted your form, before files were fully uploaded.

    Looking forward to your reply.
