Capturing info without hitting submit

    Hi there,

I am hoping to be able to capture information entered, even if somebody doesn't complete the entire form and hit submit.

On wufoo, for example, with moving between pages on a form, the information is captured, even if the person does not hit the submit button on the final page.  Such a feature is very valuable for me.

    Do you have this?

    thanks

Unfortunately, it is not possible to capture the information without submitting the form. However, we have a feature to enable Auto-fill that helps in saving the information in the browser storage before submitting the form. But this information can be accessed only when the form is accessed from the same PC and browser. Since the information stored in the browser storage, when the cache is cleared this information would be lost.

We also have another form saving method which saves the form data to the JotForm server and can be accessed using different browsers, this is called session parameter method. Please refer to the guide below that provides with more information.

Hope this information helps! If you are referring to something different or need any further assistance, please let us know. We will be happy to assist.

Using session method will store the form filled information temporarily in the JotForm servers for a period of time (30 days) and then erased permanently. This data will not be available in your account as a form submission unless the form is submitted by clicking on Submit button.

    Hope this information helps!
