Wufoo to JotForm App: The username is quite confusing, a short description would help a lotAsked by T4L_Admin on May 16, 2016 at 10:11 PM
I have tried using the migrate from wufoo app however when i enter in the API key and my username it gives me an error stating that something went wrong.
Is this app still supported by jotform?
Is there an alternative to import my forms rather then having to transfer them all by hand?
Will it be quicker to create my own app using the jotform and wufoo api's to transfer all the forms over?
Thanks for reporting.
I tried the Wufoo Migration App and it is working for me. I checked my forms page after that and I can see the migrated form including its submissions data.
Yes, you can also create your own app. You can find JotForm's API Documentation on this page https://api.jotform.com/.
We've been fixing the Migrate from Wufoo to Jotform App for the last few weeks. The first major update is now live - please give it a run - we'd love to hear your feedback:
Thankyou for getting back to me. I still receive the following error message:
Authentication Unsuccessful. Check your Wufoo username and API key and try again.
In your Wufoo username, do not enter your Wufoo email address. Use the username that is found in your Wufoo URL under your Wufoo My Account.
Here's a visual guide:
Here's an example on Wufoo app.
I have also raised this to our devs so at least they can add a short description that explains about what correct username should be entered.
