How to preserve rich text formatting?

We're using rich text control within our form and wishes to watch the submission's text exactly as the user formatted it (bullets, colors, etc). 

The problem - anywhere we try to watch submissions, formatting is lost: (1) within the submission screen bullets are gone (2) if we export to Excel all the formatting is gone (3) If we use the Dropbox integration, it saves the text as PDF which loses some of the formatting (4) even the API has coloring mistakes, we typed red color but the submission API returns HTML with green color

My question:

1. Is this a known issue that has some workaround?

Hello Yoni,

Unfortunately, I don't think you can preserve formatting in PDF or Excel exactly like it is in form since formats between the two are viewed and saved differently, therefore, they won't contain the same exact look.

Even when your form is submitted to you it also doesn't appear the same way nor in your email notifications as all of these are designed mostly to quickly show you just necessary information.
