How to stop a pop up for return customers..

Hi, 

I'd like to know if its possible for my pop up form, not to pop up for return clients. Is there a way to do, or does it involve IP addresses etc? I'm using the SquareSpace platform..

I presume you want to stop this pop-up form to display if the user returning?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to do this with the form builder. However, you can create your own custom Javascript, insert it in to your website to identify the user if it is returning.

But the problem is how you will identify the user if it is returning? Will you be basing it on their IP address? If so, then that's the identifier you need to add in your custom Javascript. You'll probably need to hire a developer for this if you are not familiar with programming.
