How does the auto delete submission app work

Now, is this submission delete apps function globally on my entire account? I noticed that on the submitted form which is in Google Spreadsheets, there is an EDIT SUBMISSION option.

Now, with submission deleted, I won't be able to edit any of those submissions right?

The auto delete submission app will only delete immediately after submission the submission to the specific form you have enabled the app. You can setup the app to work only on each individiual form. Once enabled on a form, it will not affect the other forms that were not using the app.

If the form is also using the Google spreadsheet integration, the submission will be copied first to the Google spreadsheet before the submission will be deleted.

So the only way to EDIT the submission will be on the Google spreadsheet since it is no longer on the form submission page.
