I have checked your forms and I was unable to find the form where you are providing the link to download the PDF file, I checked the payment integration that you have as well as the email templates, but could not find the link.

May we get the link to the form?

I would suggest you to check the link as well, our forms load over a secure connection (HTTPS) and if the link to the file is not over a secure connection too there will be a conflict due to mixed content, trying to load a non-secure link within a secure one.

But please provide us the link to the form, we will be glad to further investigate the issue.

    Hello Emilio,

How are you planning to allow user to download the PDF file?

I did check your form and you seems to have added a text in your thank you message "Click here for download...". Do you want your users to download the PDF file from thank you message by clicking link.

Please be noted that you need to add a clickable link to your PDF file in the thank you message. Currently no hyperlink is added in the thank you message of your form and that is the reason why you were not able to download the PDF file. Please check the screenshot below:

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

    Hello support team,
Thank you all for helping me trying to resolve this issue. Unfortunately,
after I'm still having issues on my end.
    Can you still help?
I have noticed after two payment attempts via my site www.EmilioRoman.com
for my ebook that most of the process is good(payment and response of
payment. The one drawback is the eBook still is not showing-up for download
    after payment.
Now, I have observed on my end:
*The thank you page with the download needs to show-up after the payment
    not before.
Hopefully this helps you to help me! Thanks again

I see that you have linked the text in the thank you page to this page in your website: http://www.emilioroman.com/413tev.php. The page has the PDF download link. Seeing this, I think you are all set now. Let us know if you need further help with this.

Yes, the thank you page will only appear after someone completed the form and the payment process. But you are using Paypal Standard. Please note that this is how the Paypal Standard works:

    1. Your customers/clients submit the form

    2. They will be redirected to Paypal payment page

    3. Assuming that they have completed the payment, they will see this window:

I have a PDF download for sale but when I did a beta test with a purchase the eBook did not appear for download Screenshot 30

Your customers are required to click the return URL, encircled in the above screenshot.

    4. After clicking the return URL, they will be redirected this page:

I have a PDF download for sale but when I did a beta test with a purchase the eBook did not appear for download Screenshot 41

They can skip the auto redirect. The page will redirect them to your form's thank you page.

To summarize, your customers will only see your thank you page once they click the return URL in the Paypal window. Please advise them to do so.

I would also suggest creating an autoresponder email (https://www.jotform.com/help/26-Creating-a-Form-Autoresponder). Add the download link in the autoresponder email. This way, they will have a copy of the download link. This is also useful, especially if they accidentally close the Paypal page after completing the payment without clicking the return URL.
