How to embed a form in a Shopify website that allows to be filled and continue with the check out process?Asked by John on May 20, 2016 at 06:00 PM
I would like to use a jot form for my shopify web site www.johnnybattle.com. Can you let me know if it will work in this way.
So from the shopping cart there will be a link to the form. The customer will enter a few details and then upload their logo. After the form is filled out by the customer and sent.... I need the screen to say your logo has been sent successfully please close this window to return to your shopping card to finish the check out process. The shopping cart should be underneath this page and now the customer is back to their cart where they can finish the check out process.
It this possible if I use a jot form? Can I get jotform to display them message and then have a button to close that window?
Here is an example of a site that does what I described. This is not my site but an example ... threadlogic.com
My site is JohnnyBattle.com
Yes, this is indeed possible to do with JotForm, to allow your users to upload files in your form you will need to use the File Upload field.
The message upon submission is possible to do, this guide will help you to set up your thank you page: Setting-Up-the-Thank-You-Page
Now, to embed the form as you want, there are two methods, the first one is embedding the form using the Light box method, here is a guide that will help you to embed your form using this method: How-to-Create-a-Lightbox-Form
Here is an example as well about this embed method, click here to see it working.
The second method is creating a Pop-up form, this method opens a new window, here are the steps to get this code, first click on the publish button:
Once you get the wizard, click on embed tab and then select pop-up option, copy the code and paste it in your website:
I made a sample form as well to show you the result of this code, click here to see the sample working.
If you have questions or need help when trying to follow the steps do let us know and we will be glad to help you.
