Is it possible to have the user stay on our website after hitting submit.

I found that I can redirect the user to any url after submission, but i would like them to get a "thank you" page that doesn't take them off our site. Is that possible? I have them redirected to our home page, but there is nothing saying thank you for your request.

Yes, it is possible. You can do that by adding the Web page URL as the Thank you page for your form - Setting-Up-the-Thank-You-Page.
