Shipping cost can be set for each item or for a weight value of each item. Inside of this guide you can find how to add shipping cost to payment forms: https://www.jotform.com/help/304-How-to-Add-Shipping-Cost-to-Payment-Forms

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Unfortunately this does not allow me to specify shipping costs to different zones. For example, $15.00 within the USA and $22 internationally.

You could add taxes instead. Tax will allow you to change pricing per location as well, while we can help you with the final touches through CSS so that tax is shown as shipping.

You can see more about the same here: How to Add Tax to Your Payment Form

That is to use the payment processing tool.

Alternative to this would be to use custom setup and just pass the value to be charged to your payment processor.

This can be done by following the steps shown here: How to pass a calculation to a payment field

Excellent. I will look into the calculation field.

For now, I tried adding a second "required" product for shipping, and that is working fine.
