I understand how to Enable to Autofill feature, but what does the user need to do to end the session to return to it later?

Do I need to add a Save button at the button of the form (I would then need the user to register, correct)?  Or do N need to have a text box at the top of the form to alert the user that they can return to the form if not completed by doing (I'm not sure what the instructions here would be).  Then, how do they return to the form?

Also, can a form be submitted (or "saved") that is partially filled out if there are blank fields that are required to be filled in for submission?

    Thank you

If you have enabled the autofill in your form, then no further action is required in order to save the data. You do not need to add a save button to your form. The user does not need to click on anything to save their data.

Please note that the autofill feature automatically save the user's data locally on their browser. If the user accidentally closes the form on their browser while filling the form, they simply need to open the form on the same browser and all their data should still be there.

If there are blank required fields, then the user will not be able to submit the form. Furthermore, please note that once a user submits the form, the data saved from their browser will be cleared.

Here's a demo form with autofill enabled so you can check it out: https://form.jotform.com/61438562641962

Simply fill out the form and close it before submitting. Then open the form again on the same browser and you will see that your data is still there.
