When making stripe coupon on a recurring subscription is it only applied for first year or is it applied every year after?

    Thanks,

May I know what feature or setting you are referring to?

The Stripe payment integration in JotForm has two options. We have the native coupon code feature directly in the JotForm payment integration, you can learn more about it here: https://www.jotform.com/help/233-How-To-Add-Coupon-Code-in-the-Payment-Form.

The other is the Stripe coupon code which I believe is directly related to your Stripe account.

I am not entirely sure how you have setup the Stripe coupon codes in your end and how they work, so you might need to directly contact Stripe support about this.

However, in terms of JotForm's coupon code feature, you have two options to where to apply it, you can apply it on the recurring charges or on the setup fee. Below is a screenshot to where you can find it. If you choose "Recurring charges" then it will be applied on the recurring payments.

Below is a sample screenshot, I have a coupon code that applies 50% discount on my $10 yearly subscription. When the user enters the coupon code, you can see that the price is now $5 on each year, meaning the recurring payment will be on that price for as long as the subscription remains active.

    I hope that helps.
